Long Island National Cemetery

I still remember basic training, a lot has changed over the years but the quality of character and values remain the same. We are still taking care of Soldiers regardless of rank. When I was at basic training at a PVT my brother passed when I was three quarters of the way done with finishing, he was not there physically to see me March but I could sense him. Those drills sgt took me out there with to quickness to go pay my respects and I was thankful. This is probably why I am serving so long now because it was the last thing he knew I was doing. Service has much reward and I have tons of experience to give to our younger Soldiers coming up. You are few of many but you matter. Thank you for your service
