PapaTony, your vibrant outlook on life was filled with so much fun, laughter and dancing! My heart weighs heavy but your spirit lives highly in my heart. It was with true honor to have you as a grandfather in my life. Your teachings were always one for the books. Your insight and outlook were so unique and ones I would never forget. You were a true soldier, a strong fighter in your last weeks and days of living here on Earth. You stood tall until the last breath and that showed all of your loved ones how strong and great you were. No one or anything compares to you. You were a unique soul that filled any room with your great spirits. May you sing and dance away with the angels . With an abundance of love and gratitude, I thank you for being you. I miss you dearly and I love you. PapaTony, you will never leave our hearts, you pierced my heart forever.

From one veteran to another, thank you for your service Papatony.  What an honor to serve this GREAT county of ours.  I know how proud you were to have served in the 82nd airborn division and I know your looking down from heaven giving us all the biggest salute possible.  Love n miss you...

My heart is glad to have such fond memories. There is a sweetness and grace about our time spent together in the final phase of his life. I enjoyed it a thousand ways. He had a huge presence that could only be matched by the size of his generous heart. He lived life with gusto, always pushing the boundaries. 

Papatony, you left us much too early and with broken hearts. The love you shared will be remembered & cherished and will never die.
