Cape Canaveral National Cemetery

Hey Adam. I didn't believe it when I first heard it. I couldn't. I remember when you'd smash the daylights out of me during Jiu Jitsu at American Top Team in Winter Springs. 

It wasn't long before I saw that you has opened your own business. I was really happy for you. When some unexpected circumstances found me and I needed a job, you brought me on, even though you were fully staffed up. Days at the office were like being in a locker room. Bad food and jokes. You taught me a lot and showed me what life could look like if I stuck with your line of work. I ended up leaving but a large part of that was because I couldn't envision being that successful. Maybe I didn't think I deserved it. I honestly don't know. 

I'll never forget your generosity. You helped me when you had no obligation to. I only wished that I could have helped you when you needed it. I'd have sat with you as long as it took. Whether it was on your front steps or wherever. The funny thing is, you didn't know me that well when you helped me and though I knew you a little better by the time I left, I'd have gone to the wall for you. You probably thought what you did for me was nothing. It wasn't. Not even close. 

For that, I'll be forever grateful. I'll also be forever in grief that I wasn't able to help you too. I'll miss you, bud.
