I worked with Padilla for 3 out of my 6 years in the Air Force. He was my first 3 man and long term supervisor. Padilla was knowledgeable, witty, the life of the party, and went out of his way to make everyone feel included. He had thee best hair in the Air Force, considering he was the “barber” of the deployment, and always made sure everyone else was fresh too. We’ve spent countless nights/days on the flightline troubleshooting, doing scheduled maintenance, installing guns, loading, Crew 2 was a force to be reckoned with. We owe our hard work and dedication to having an awesome 1 man “Padilla”. Padilla would go out of his way to provide a ride for me due to our family having one vehicle. We never missed a birthday party of either of our families. A highlight of our career was loading against and beating the Jordanian Air Force. We also had a chance to meet the Prince of Jordan together. I remember how proud Padilla was of our crew. He was and still is my brother and best friend. Life moving forward will forever change without him. I am forever grateful for the time we had together. Sleep in peace Cangri! Crew 2 for life!

I have had the privilege of working with many dedicated individuals throughout my career, but there is one person who stands out as one of the hardest working men I have ever had the pleasure to supervise. Anthony Padilla's commitment to his work was unparalleled, and his work ethic serves as an inspiration to all those around him. From the moment I arrived at Misawa to the moment I left, he gave his all to every task he was assigned, never once cutting corners or taking shortcuts. His dedication to his job was truly remarkable, and I was constantly in awe of his leadership ability to consistently go above and beyond what was expected of him.

Not only was Anthony an incredible hard worker, but he was also a genuinely kind and compassionate individual.  From my viewpoint he always took the time to listen to his coworkers and offer support when needed, making him a valuable asset to our team. Whether it's staying late to install the gym system or being hand-selected to do the load demonstration team while deployed to Jordan. Anthony always offered words of encouragement. He always went out of his way to ensure that those around him felt valued and appreciated. His positive attitude and willingness to help others made him a pleasure to work with, and I am grateful to have had him as a part of our team. It has been both an honor and a privilege to have had the opportunity to supervise such a dedicated and hardworking individual. Rest easy brother.
