When Brandon was young and staying with us (Uncle Jay and Aunt Marsha) he would do something to get in trouble. When I would sit him down to discuss with him the situation, he would come out with something so logical and cute you couldn't dispute it. You then forgot why he was initially in trouble.
 He definitely got that from his father (Kendall Benjamin).
We let him drive the riding lawn mower and somehow he ran over the hood of the mower and had no idea it came off. There are so many more stories. Way too many to share in such a small space.
Brandon just had a way about him that you couldn't help but be amazed at his logic, his smile, laugh and feel love when you were with him. 
Brandon has a lot of friends and family in Montgomery County NY. 
He was liked by everyone he ever met. There are so many memories with Brandon and for the most part they all make you smile and laugh.
 The one thing Brandon knew from a young age was that he was going to make the military his career. He joined JROTC  and was dedicated to his programs and his service. He was supported by his family in his choice of  the military.
 There was pride, concern, fear and worry on the families part but Brandon just reassured his family he was good (even when he joined the Explosive ordnance disposal  Unit). We watched Brandon grow up (so concern was warranted, trust me ). He'd tell me I worry too much.  
Brandon will be so missed by some many. The saddest part is he had no idea how many lives he touched and how many people loved him. 
We will all do our part to keep his memory alive in our hearts and in the stories of his escapades. 
Most importantly we will do our best to make sure Brandon's son Alexander (Zander) know the wonderful man his father was and how much he loved his son. Zander has big family and that is   Brandon's forever gift to his son and his legacy.
We will always love you Brandon !!!

Brandon and I met through a murder case we both worked on as paralegals at Fort Campbell. Besides being devastatingly handsome and charming, Brandon was hyper intelligent, kind, hilarious, and creative. Life was always an adventure and he always made everything feel magical. I had the pleasure of being his wife.
Brandon was a family man and an excellent husband. I will miss and love him every day and I know our children will too.

I came into Brandon’s life when he was 13 years old. After a lot of tears and laughs we grew to be mom and son. Though I did not give birth to Brandon, we was and always be my son. Brandon was in the Civil Air Patrol during his high school years, this is where he learned strength and discipline and also helped him make the decision to join the military. Brandon enlisted in the Army his senior year of school, before he even graduated. I miss the smirk he would give when you knew he was up to something mischievous or just being the lovable smart ass that he was. Brandon will always be missed and more loved than he could ever imagine.
