LINCOLN HILL CEMETERY

Calvin and I are brothers and he was one year older. We grew up together and always looked out for each other. May 1970, I went to the Army first and Calvin was drafted and reported for basic training at Fort Bragg, N.C. In June of 1970. I was so happy to see him. Calvin completed his infantry (AIT) training at Fort Polk, Louisiana and off to Viet nam he went. I completed my AIT training at Fort Ord, California and went to Korea for 13 months. This was the first time Calvin and I had been away from each other for more than two months in our 18 years of being alive. We would write each other often. Now 54 years later, I miss my brother so much. I am SFC Retired Ed Taylor.
