Eugene Frederick or simply known to all he knew as "Fred" or "Uncle Fred", was the youngest child to WIlliam Lieske and Eva Emma Grew Lieske. Born in Fraizer, Minnesota on April 6, 1926, entered the US Army and retired after 30 years. Fred served his country in the US Army, di tours in Korea and WWII. He was a POW being captured and having his knuckle broken while being interrogated by enemy. It isn't clear if he escaped or was rescued by Us Military. Purple heart for bravery and several other military accommodations as a POW. Fred was a happy person and always very busy with something. He was married three times and had 10 children. Fred passed away on June 27, 1993 at his home in Vinton, Texas at the age of 67, after breaking his hip after falling at home working on his roof and suffered a massive cardiac attack after therapy for hip. He was surrounded by his third and final wife Agustina "Tina" Morales Lieske and his youngest three children, Wendy Elaine, Lillian Eva and Eugene Frederick Jr. Freds celebration of life was held at his family's place of worship St Patrick Catholic Parish in Canutillo, Texas in July 1993.  He was interred at the Fort Bliss National Cemetary in FT Bliss Texas near Biggs army airfield. The memorial service was packed with family and friends who came to say goodbye, including his older brother William F Lieske Sr, and 2 of his oldest children Matthew Joseph Lieske (wife Valerie) and Frederick Eugene Lieske (wife?). 
Fred was preceded in death by his parents William and Eva Lieske of Minnesota.
