This is my fathers page in the ether we call the cloud, He was an amazing man who started life in Umapine , Oregon born to George M and Camille I Grimes., Dad had 1 brother James, a sister Beverly and another sister who died at birth. He was raised on a farm and joined the military at the behest of friends and spent his career at Ft Lewis Washington, eventually gaining rank as a sargent. He was a mechanic for his lifetime and married Donice E French in Cour De Lane Idaho, becoming a step father to her two boys, Larry and Jerry Monk. George and Donice had two children together, George Jr and Gregory, making Walla Walla Washington their final home after several years in Sacramento Ca. where he was a Rocket motor mechanic for Aerojet. He was an avid Hunter and outdoorsman and loved riding motorcycles in the mountains. After 54 years of marriage to Donice Dad left us in 2009. He was cremated and a marker placed at a pioneer cemetary named Valley Chapel where his Grandfather and other relatives were laid to rest. He is greatly missed and forever in our Hearts. U til We Meet Again...
