My Daddy was and will always be the most loving and God Fearing Man I know. 
He loved and cared for his family till he took his final breath. 
He was a teacher who loved spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. He preached the word and lived it. 
He was a great father to 4 with me being the youngest. 
He was a grandfather to 11. He was a loving husband to our Mother for almost 63 years. He was a loving hands on Great Granddaddy/ PAH PAH to 20 and 1 Great Great Grandchild. 
January 14, 1958 Jay and Rose were married and survived years of separation from his service to this country. A wounded warrior during the Vietnam War. He was in the heat of The Tet Offensive. 
Daddy was an Airman at a time when our Black military men and women were not recognized for their value until years later. He was a pioneer. 
He served on the battlefield for our country for 20 years. Retiring with 100% service connecting disability. 
He finished his life on the battlefield for our Lord and Savior till the day he left his tired and painful body on 10/4/2021. My life was enhanced by my Daddy’s presence in my life. 
To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.
