Johannes Johannessen is a Notable burial at https://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/cypresshills.asp.  He was born May 13, 1872, in Bodø, Norway and after immigrating to the United States he joined the navy. He was stationed aboard the USS Iowa (BB-4) as a chief watertender when, on January 25, 1905, a manhole plate blew out of boiler D. For his actions received the Medal of Honor March 20, 1905.
