My baby brother is the world's biggest loss. 

My little brother was sweet, kind, loving, funny, brave and most importantly full of so much life. He was taken all too soon. I will remember the laughs he gave me while sending crazy messages to the family group chat at 2 am, his sassy face and attitude when he was slightly annoyed, when he called me "bub" and "sissy" when he wanted something from me, all our adventures as two little kids and teenagers. I will remember how he was my shoulder to cry on. I will remember how he could get me annoyed and make me laugh and smile in the same sentence. I will remember how he would take my barbie dolls so his superhero action figures had someone to save. I will remember how excited he would get when he saw me in school and how he would leave his class line to run up and hug me. I will remember the 7 am mornings watching cartoons. I will remember our late facetime calls when you lived in Japan and how you still owe me some candy from over there. 

I would have gone to the ends of the earth to be with him and help him. He was my motivation to continue to get better. My assurance that life did not always have to be as sad as it was. He was my reminder that I was not all alone in this world. I miss him terribly. I miss him more than these words can describe. 

He was my best friend, my first baby and my little brother. Your big sister loves you forever and ever! I am forever proud of you. We will see each other soon! - Your big sis Astrid
