I will always remember Kerry for his wit and humor. His love for life and the joy he always tried to find in it. Kerry and I met in 1978 when we were both serving in the Air Force. We shared the same job and often found ourselves away from our families, but the brotherhood bond we shared helped ease the loneliness. After the Air Force, we found each other through Nortel (BNR) I was a customer and he was an employee. I later became an employee and found myself in the Dallas area on many occasions. Kerry and I always got together to swap war stories and food and drink. I could always count on Kerry for entertainment. I was deeply saddened when Kerry had his motorcycle accident, an event that cost him a leg and a part of his soul. Kerry kept up a strong front but he was slipping away which made me more determined to be there for him when he needed it We shared phone calls and emails. I could count on him to send emails with YouTube videos and music. Music was one of our shared passions.. I look at his emails all the time. I will remember and miss Kerry. He was a friend and a brother from a different mother.

"You will indeed go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush, a cypress will grow, and instead of the brier, a myrtle will spring up; they will make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign, never to be destroyed." Isaiah 55:12. Rest in peace Kerry. You were loved.
