Sgt. Larry Bowman died during the attack on New York City’s World Trade Center Plaza on September 11, 2001. 

He worked in security on nights and weekends at the WTC.  On that day, he stayed at his post and helped people escape the towers like a true Soldier.

 Sgt. Bowman was a chaplain assistant with C Battery, 258th Field Artillery, Army National Guard, New York.

 He had recently became an ordained minister and was working to establish his own ministry.
