Linear Satosius Tripplet, born May 17, 1881, in Washington, District of Columbia, USA, where he lived at 143 A NE, Washington DC, during his young life with family, which had 2 of its parents, Samuel J. He was an outstanding brother to three surviving brothers: Allen, James, and Henry; and to two sisters: Geraldine and Bernadine. He was joined in marriage to Anna E. Alexander on January 12, 1904. Linear started his military service from Ethan Allan, Vermont on February 20, 1913, and afterwards, he also gave service to the Army with the Q.M.C and 10th US Cav. He had re-enlisted on August 8, 1919, and February 17, 1917. After his military service, voter registration files listed him as having lived at 3854 Paloma at Prtr. He later moved to 532 E 33rd St, Los Angeles. Linear became politically active in the 1930s; in 1932, he had registered as a Democrat, while ten years earlier, in 1926, he registered as a Republican. He had to grapple with diabetes, which troubled him in his old age. The fact remains that March 6, 1940, Linear indeed did die in Los Angeles, California. He is buried in Los Angeles at Section 72, Row D, Plot 11.
