Sergeant 1st Class Loren R. Kaufman (Korea) is a Notable burial at https://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/willamette.asp. He received the Medal of Honor posthumously for service in the U.S. Army, Company G, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, in recognition of actions near Yongsan, Korea, September 4-5, 1950. Kaufman joined the Army from his birthplace the week after the Attack on Pearl Harbor, and served in North Africa and Europe during World War II.  Kaufman died in 1951.
