Nelson Philip Fonseca is a Notable burial at https://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/ftgibson.asp.  He was born on April 8, 1920.  He enlisted in the Army twice, first on June 20, 1941.  After being discharged on 4 Nov 1945, he enlisted again on January 12, 1949.  Fonseca served in the Philippines during WWII and in Korea.   He was a survivor of the Bataan Death March. and he was one of 513 men rescued and liberated during a daring raid by the 6th U. S. Army Rangers in January of 1945. He was held in Prison Camp No. 1 Luzon Island, in the Philippines.
