I was in HQ 3/10. Was there when Doc was trying to save him. Docs look of his inability to save his life will forever be etched in my heart. Cpl Jones will forever be my hero. Semper Fi my brother!❤️

We had 3 children: Dameta Jackson, Jessica Jones & Robert Jones. Our family now is 10 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild, the legacy lives on. We love & miss you, Marine Forever. Gone To Soon But Never Forgotten 

My name is Cpl. Garcia A. (Wolf), I was Plt. Sgt. driver, for (GySgt. Henderson) I had the honor to serve with Cpl. Jones during the Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm., India Btry 3/10, 2nd Plt.

I went to boot camp with Cpl Jones. I remember he was really motivated and worked really hard. I was in 5/10 when I heard the bad news. Was so surprised and heartbroken. He is good marine and I think of him often and especially on this day. My his soul lay in peace and his family have God's love.

    I was in HQ 3/10 during Desert Storm, I am the individual that packed up and inventoried Jonesy’s gear and personal belongings. While inventorying I came across a couple of unsent letters. It’s hard to remember now but I believe they were to his wife and mother. I was told to give any correspondence to my command but I didn’t. I placed them unsent in to his duffel bag so that his loved ones would know that he was thinking of them right up until that faithful day. I finished my task and then went back to my fighting hole curled up on my cot and cried uncontrollably. I hope his family was able to find comfort and peace......Remembering you Brother on this Memorial Day. 

Hi Anthony, I’m his baby sister.  Reading that he will never be forgotten warns my heart.  He was the BEST brother a girl could have. My Protector and Friend.

I don't believe I ever met him. He was in India battery. He was the only Marine KIA in 3rd battalion 10th Marine artillery regiment. His battery commanding officer was one of the finest marines I ever met. I was in HQ battery. I didnt know Phillip, but I never forgot him. Semper Fidelis Devildog.
