Wing Chu Chin was born in Valley Stream, New York, on September 18th, 1922. He enlisted in the Army on November 12th, 1942. He served in the Army Air Corps for four years as a machinist during World War II. He produced and repaired crucial pieces of aircrafts. 
At the age of 26, Wing worked as on a farm in Calabasas, California. He was then employed as a brush maker in the cosmetics industry and worked about 40 hours per week.
Wing Chu Chin died on January 19th 1998, at the age of 76.
